Ingredients

Frankenstein Marshmallow Pops:

  • Green candy melts
  • Dark chocolate
  • Edible eyes
  • Pretzels for the bolts Only the end of each pretzel, about 5 mm long. If the pretzel bits are longer, they may fall off
  • Chocolate sprinkles
  • Red food coloring
  • Skewer
  • Lollipop sticks

Pumpkin Oreo pops:

  • Oreo cookies or any sandwich cookie
  • Orange candy melts melted
  • Lollipop sticks
  • Pretzels cut into 5-10 mm bits
  • Tweezers
  • Green candy melts melted
  • Edible Eyes
  • Skewer
  • Dark chocolate melted

Mummy Oreo Pops:

  • Oreo cookies or any sandwich cookie
  • White chocolate melted
  • Piping bag/ziplock bag for drizzling chocolate
  • Lollipop sticks
  • Tweezers
  • Edible Eyes

Instructions

Frankenstein Marshmallow Pops:

  • Melt the green candy melts in the microwave in 15 second increments until smooth. Add 2 tsp vegetable oil if it is too thick.
  • Stick a marshmallow on a lollipop stick. It should go through completely.
  • Dip the Marshmallow into the green candy melts and tap the excess on the side of the bowl/container.
  • Immediately stick on the eyes. A tweezer makes it easier.
  • On either side of the marshmallow, stick on a pretzel bit.
  • Let the pops harden on parchment paper.
  • Once hard, dip the pops into the bittersweet chocolate, careful not to let it touch the edible eyes.
  • Then dip the pops into sprinkles while the bitter chocolate is still melted.
  • Dip a skewer into the melted chocolate and use it to make the Frankenstein’s mouth.
  • Dip a skewer in red food coloring and use it to make scars around the pop.

Pumpkin Oreo pops:

  • To melt the chocolates: Place in the microwave stirring after every 15 seconds or until smooth.
  • Separate the sandwich cookie into two portions.
  • Dip a lollipop stick into the orange candy melts and place onto the cream-side of the cookie.
  • Sandwich with the other half and press down firmly. If the cookie breaks, just glue it together with some of the melted candy melts.
  • Let the cookies firm up, about 15 minutes.
  • In the meantime, using tweezers, dip the pretzel bits into the green candy melts and set on a parchment paper sheet to firm up.
  • Once the cookies have set, dip them into the remaining orange candy melts and place onto a parchment lined tray.
  • Quickly place atop the edible eyes and the green-covered pretzel bits as the stem and let the chocolate harden.
  • Next, dip the end of a skewer into the melted dark chocolate and make a zig-zag pattern on the surface of the pumpkin to form a face.
  • Let the cookie firm up before serving.

Mummy Oreo Pops:

  • To melt the chocolate: Place in the microwave stirring after every 15 seconds or until smooth.
  • Separate the sandwich cookie into two portions.
  • Dip a lollipop stick into the white chocolate and place onto the cream-side of the cookie.
  • Sandwich with the other half and press down firmly. If the cookie breaks, just glue it together with some white chocolate. It’s actually easier to work with if the cookie breaks in half while sandwiching.
  • Let the cookies firm up in the fridge/freezer, about 10-15 min.
  • Once the cookies have set, dip them into the remaining white chocolate and place onto a parchment lined tray
  • Quickly place atop the edible eyes.
  • Next, drizzle the remaining white chocolate on all sides around the eyes to resemble a mummy.
  • Let the cookie firm up before serving.
